AMWEP Calendar- April and May

Good afternoon, ladies!   I have placed a good amount of information on the calendar for the rest of April and May. These items show up here and I emailed them (to the addresses i have)

·         We have a scheduled hike at Lily Mountain on Saturday, April 21st at 9:30am. Let me know if you need any additional info regarding this hike. It is child friendly and can be done partially or fully. It is also a great trail to run on, if anyone is interested.

·         I am planning a walk around the lake with my little guys on Sunday, April 22nd,  at 11am to collect trash and talk about earth day if anyone wants to join. Meet at the dog park (LMK if you think you might come!).

·         The following week we have a Happy Hour scheduled for Wednesday, April 25th at 4:30-6 at the Rock Inn. Obviously there are no rules to how long it can go, but happy hour ends at 6 J.

Kristen Berg was kind enough to pull together all the kid information, so thank you so much for doing that! Also, there are a couple of great family events coming up that she added to the information. Let me know if you want an email of the screen shot calendar and did not already receive one!

Bronson has started dialog with Eric from the Dojo regarding a self-defense call, I will keep you updated on what he says!

And finally, we should plan a quick brainstorming session about the summer soon if possible. I can check with Karla to see if we can use the upper part of Ed’s sometime in the next few weeks to put some solid dates down for projects, activities, etc.

As always, let me know if you have any questions, want to add an event or need to get connect with someone! Look forward to seeing you on Saturday, hopefully!

Thanks!

Thank you to everyone who came to the first meeting of AMWEP last night. We had a great time getting to know each other and having a few margs!

We did not decide any future dates. but we do want to get together again soon for a few activites. We also discussed different fun workshops we could do each month. I have a list of things we talked about, but we should brainstorm a few more ideas to get a good list going and be able to plan ahead!!

Thanks again, and check out the additional resources below for more information. This blog also has a calendar of events posted on the right sidebar. Let me know if you have an event you would like to post!
